Need help. We have one of those mortgages than went from 7% to 18% and climing. Our new mortgage payment is $800.00 more than what we use to pay. We fell behind on our mortgage and all of our bills. We have poor credit so we cannot refinance. We our going to be going into foreclosure soon. Does anybody know of a program or loan company that would refiance our home to a payment we can afford? Or what type of help there is out there? We want to file bankruptcy on all our other bills (because we our about 50,000 in debt) and try to keep our home. Is that possible? Trying to avoid being out of the street with a family of 7.
